Watercolors on the Water

Spend 14
nights sailing from one enchanted fishing village to another to study
and paint in watercolor. My workshop will be for 8 of those days.
We will be on the water on a large sail boat with a crew exploring
places Deventer, Amsterdam and sailing wherever we like. Critiques
will be held at night.
Breakfasts and dinners will be included on the boat and people can
take care of their own lunches in town. There is room for 13 painters
in the workshop. People should sign up with a hut mate.
Cost of trip:
1300 euros for meals and accommodations
600.00 US dollars for Molly’s workshop
Deposits: October 1, 2009 of 650 euros to Pauline Fourre and
$300.00 to Molly Davis
March 1, 2009 remainder of 650 euros to Pauline Fourre and
$300.00 to Molly Davis
Schedule:
August 16: Leave USA and arrive in Amsterdam
August 17: Board ship in Amsterdam for 1-2 days
August 18-22: First four days of classes
August 23-24: Exploration on your own to photograph and paint
August 25-29: Second week of classes and independent painting alongside
the other students and myself.
August 31: Return to USA

Painting workshop in all media
August 31- September 14, 2009
Paint in the quaint countryside
of Burgundy. We will be staying in a large mansion in the charming downtown
of St. Gengoux. We will be close to old medieval towns like Chalon,
Buxy and Chenoves, where you can paint and explore vineyards in the
heart of the wine country. This idyllic spot was in the same area as
my recent workshop in May of this year and was a wonderful and productive
time for my students.
Trip includes: 2 nights in a hotel in Paris. (shared room) 11 nights
in the
chateau. People need to sign up with their choice of roommate. All rooms
are for 2 people. Breakfasts, dinners in Burgundy will be provided.
Lunches are up to the students. The train to and from Paris, transportation
from and to the train station to St. Gengoux.
Does not include: airfare, lunches, entrance fees, (optional bike or
car rental) or the workshop by Molly Davis. (which is to be paid directly
to Molly) A private room in the Paris hotel for 2 nights will be extra.
Schedule:
August 31: Leave USA and arrive in Paris Sept 1
Sept 1: Paris
Sept 2: Train to Saint Genoux
Sept 3-7: First week of classes
Sept 8, 9: Students time to explore on your own to photograph and paint
Sept 10-12: Second week of classes and independent painting alongside
the other students and myself.
Sept 13: Train back to Paris and night painting in Paris
Sept 14: Return to USA
Cost of the trip:
1000 Euros for meals and accommodations paid to Pauline Fourre
$550.00 US dollars paid to Molly Davis
Deposits:
A deposit of 500 euros will be due to Pauline Fourre on December 1,
2008 and 275.00 US dollars to Molly Davis
The final deposit will be due March 1, 2009 of 500 euros will be due
to Pauline Fourre on December 1, 2008 and 275.00 US dollars to Molly
Davis
